1.2.4 QUALIFICATIONS. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: provide medical care and public health services to eligible individuals according to the standards of clinical nurse midwifery. The work experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.


You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
For positions requiring positive education requirements, or if you are using education to meet all or part of the qualification requirements, you MUST submit a copy of your transcripts or an itemized list of college courses which includes equivalent information from the transcript (course title, semester/quarter hours, and grade/degree earned) in your resume.


1.2.4.1 Education:  A graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required. This education must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (external link), Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (external link), Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (external link), or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (external link) at the time the degree was obtained.


When there is a positive education requirement, or you are using education to qualify as a substitution for experience, transcripts (unofficial) are required at the time of application to verify that you meet the educational requirement or substitution.
Only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education may be credited.


 


1.2.4.2. Licensure/Registration: Shall have and maintain a professional license, certification and/or registration as required by the profession and appropriate regulatory bodies. This license shall be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid (the issuing authority accepts and considers QA information (i.e. practitioner professional performance and conduct in determining continued licenses, and unrestricted (not subject to restriction pertaining to the scope, location, or type of practice ordinarily granted to other applicants for similar licenses in granting jurisdiction). The license shall be examination based and one that is granted by the recognized licensing agency of a state in the United States of America, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the Virgin Islands.


1.2.4.3. Experience. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience.


1.2.4.4. Life support training. The Contractor employees shall possess and maintain current course completion documentation for basic cardiac life support (BCLS) through an American Heart Association and/or Red Cross approved training program.  The contract HCPs are responsible for maintaining these certifications in a current status at all time while performing services under this contract. 


1.2.45. Network Access and Security Training:  All users must receive IA awareness training tailored to the system and information accessible prior to being granted information system access. Users will receive annual refresher training to maintain information system access. (AR 25-2, para 4).  All personnel shall ensure that their profile data and IA training and certification information in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) is current. New personnel will register at https://atc.us.army.mil at the time of appointment.  Antiterrorism Level 1 Training is required annually for contractor personnel performing OCONUS.
