Urgent Care Physician Jobs
Urgent Care
Urgent care encompasses a broad range of positions including emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, doctors and nurses. These careers are focused in providing excellent care within a short and critical time. While licensing and educational requirements differ by state and occupation, to become an EMT or paramedic, an individual must complete a program focusing on bleeding, the infrastructure of the human body and airway obstruction. Some programs also require an individual complete on the job training in an urgent care center. Educational requirements for doctors include the completion of medical school and a residency program. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job prospects for all careers involved in urgent care should be better than in most other fields. The salary of those working in urgent care can vary. For example, an EMT can expect to earn $25,000 a year, while a doctor can earn upwards of $200,000 per year.
