Physical Therapist (PT) Jobs
Physical Therapist, RPT
The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that job opportunities for a registered physical therapist, or RPT, will continue to grow faster than average for all employment sectors. A physical therapist’s job includes diagnoses and helping individuals of all ages regain their physical functionality. Educational requirements for an RPT include completing a Post-Baccalaureate Degree from one of the many accredited programs nationwide. Every state may require additional licensing or certification requirements. However, the majority of states require that an applicant pass the National Physical Therapy Examination in addition to fulfilling a state’s requirements. For example, in California, licensed physical therapists are required to attend continuing education to renew their license. Pursuing a career in physical therapy allows an individual to engage in a rewarding career while earning a comfortable living. Individuals working in the field as a RPT can expect to earn between 65,000 to 85,000 depending on the area of the country and sector of employment.
