About the Role:
Seeking a skilled Microbiologist to join our team supporting the client. The incumbent will coordinate and perform testing for SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A, Influenza B, RSV, and other pathogens of public health concern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform RNA/DNA extraction and PCR testing.


• Apply molecular and standard laboratory techniques to ensure accurate results.


• Compile, analyze, evaluate, and prepare laboratory reports.


• Maintain laboratory safety practices and follow state and federal regulations.


• Participate in proficiency testing programs and maintain high-quality standards.


• Communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing.


• Use specialized laboratory equipment for molecular testing.


• Adapt to changes in duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in a biological science.


• Minimum 5 years of relevant laboratory experience.


• Extensive knowledge of molecular testing principles, theories, and practices.


• Experience with RNA/DNA extraction and PCR testing is required.


• Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and state/federal regulations.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Ability to maintain productive working relationships in a team environment.
