As a Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Physician in the U.S. Army, you will provide expert care to Soldiers, retirees, and their families, diagnosing and managing respiratory conditions and critical illnesses. You will treat a wide range of pulmonary diseases, such as COPD, asthma, and acute respiratory failure, while also providing life-saving care in ICU settings. You’ll use advanced technology and techniques to deliver high-quality care, lead multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to medical research in the field.
Whether serving Active Duty or in the Army Reserve, you will gain leadership experience, travel opportunities, and contribute to humanitarian missions, all while making a significant impact on the health and readiness of military personnel.

Eligibility Requirements:
MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical school
Board certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care
Current medical license in the U.S. or Puerto Rico
Must have completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty or permanent residency for Army Reserve
