Sterling Medical is seeking 3 full time Echo Sonographers to provide services at the VA Medical center in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; and Tacoma, WA.

Job Type: Full time

VA Business Hours: Monday through Friday 08:00 A.M. -04:30 P.M.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 
  

  Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

  
  


• 
  

  Accredited by the National Certification from ARDMS and/or CCI guidelines that are set forth by ARDMS.

  
  


• 
  

  ECHO Sonographers are registered by RDCS.

  
  


• 
  

  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  
  

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Perform high quality diagnostic cardiovascular and echocardiogram examinations on patients

  
  


• 
  

  Ensures quality of diagnostic procedures and provides the interpreting physician with the test information necessary to allow an effective diagnostic evaluation

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to VA patient safety protocols and guidelines

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure quality control of imaging equipment and report any technical issues

  
  

Period of performance is one year plus four option years.
