Sterling Medical is seeking full-time Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to work at the VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Long Beach, CA.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 years in an acute care hospital setting.

Credentials:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care.


• Active state license.

Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association).


• ACLS (American Heart Association).

Position Details

• Location: VA Medical Center, Long Beach, CA.


• Contract Duration: One base year with four option years.


• Schedule: 80 hours per 2-week period, including six (6) 12-hour shifts and one (1) 8-hour shift. Alternate schedules may be approved. Shifts may include:


• Day: 7:30 am – 8:00 pm or 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.


• Night: 7:30 pm – 8:00 am or 10:00 pm – 6:30 am.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift:

• 12 hour shift


• 8 hour shift


• Day shift


• Night shift


• Rotating shift
