Sterling Medical is seeking a Psychiatric Social Worker to provide services to the active duty Coast Guard Service Members at Camp May Training Academy.

Qualifications:

• Diploma from an accredited School of Social Work and a Masters or Doctorate Degree in Social Work.


• Current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice social work in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.


• Current certification in the field of Social Work.


• A minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience within the past five (5) years.


• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers

• Conduct assessments utilizing various techniques for the purposes of determining mental health and treatment plans.


• Develop, review, and implement treatment plans for are of behavioral health conditions.


• Treat outpatients using a range of clinical skills to provide recommendations for lifestyle and behavioral changes.


• Update medical records.


• Maintain open and professional communication with staff and Commands.


• Plan, develop and maintain referral and coordination services with other mental health resources and social service agencies to provide optimal care.


• Provide immediate notification of medical emergencies to the Medical Department.


• Provide coordination of care for referral management


• Monitor rates of mental health related behavior and resource utilization.

Hours of Performance: Mon-Fri, 08:00am – 4:00pm
