Sterling Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide services at the Base Seattle Clinic. We are providing a company car for this opportunity!

Qualifications

• Diploma from a National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) accredited school of nursing.


• Current, unrestricted clinical license in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.


• BLS for Healthcare Providers


• The Registered Nurse shall maintain credentialing requirements in good standing at a local MTF. 

Additionally, RN shall have:

• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in the nursing field within the past three (3) years; and at least one year of family practice or internal medicine in the past five (5).

Responsibilities Include:

• The RN will provide services to U.S. Coast Guard Base Seattle

• Assess patients’ needs for nursing care and plan for nursing interventions

• Provide nursing triage to acute issues

• Administer oxygen, IV fluids, and prescribed medications

• Prepare patients for surgical and/or diagnostic procedures

• Participates in training to clinic staff

• Prepare and submit documentation per DOD regulations

• Provide coordination of care for referral management

Hours of Performance: Mon-Fri, 0730am – 4:00pm
