Our Interventional Radiology teams have helped thousands of people avoid surgery by performing minimally-invasive procedures for variety of conditions.  We offer a wide array of services including diagnostic and interventional angiography, IVC filter placements, vertebroplasties, biopsies, TIPS, G-Tube placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, fistulagrams and thrombolysis.

Your day.


As an IR / Special Procedures Tech you need to know how to:

  • Operate Angiographic equipment.
  • Perform vascular/interventional radiography procedures resulting in quality patient care and radiographic images necessary for diagnosis of disease and/or treatment.
  • Meet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination and documentation.



Your experience.


We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
  • Current ARRT (R) registration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants.
  • Thorough knowledge of radiation safety.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (with prior approval).
  • Current ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
  • Current VIR certification or the ability to obtain within two (2) years of hire.
  • Current RTRCV certification or the ability to obtain after hire.


  • Experience as a staff technologist.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in vascular/interventional imaging.
