A behavioral health center located in Arizona is seeking an inpatient clinical psychologist. In this consultant role, the incoming physician will provide psychological assessment of hospitalized inpatients, including behavior planning for inpatients who exhibit behavior considered dangerous to self or others. Other responsibilities will be determined, based on the ability of the physician with psychological assessment, teaching experience, research, and interests. Candidates must like assessment and not want to do therapy. It is important for applicants to have a desire to work with the seriously mentally ill.

 This employed opportunity has an annual salary, and loan forgiveness is available through a PSLF program. You will be offered malpractice with tail coverage, medical/dental/vision benefits, life insurance, long- and short-term disability, AD&D insurance, 4 weeks of PTO plus 10 paid holidays, 1 week of CME time with stipend, a commencement bonus, and a tax-deferred pension plan with company contribution.
