Job Status:

You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Student.

You know how to stay organized and move fast. You respond calmly in high pressure situations.

Youre generous with your thoughts, your partnership and especially your voice in the Cath Lab because your opinion matters.

Youre great at what you do, but you want to be part of something even greater. Because you believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.

Here is your chance to do your clinical rotations, while getting paid to work along the side of other Cardiovascular Techs.  Your rotations will include unit-based learning with a preceptor and will help provide you with additional support as you begin your student rotations with us.  During this program, you will rotate among the four care sites, St. Joseph Hospital, Good Samaritan Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center and Platte Valley Medical Center.

You will be paid $25 per hour for 24 hours of work, $400 weekly housing stipend and covered travel expenses to and from our hospitals. Plus, we will offer you a $5,000 relocation bonus, payable on your first check to help you relocate to Colorado.

When youve completed the program, we will assist you in joining one of our community-based hospitals to further your career.

SCL Health is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care.  Our community-based hospitals provide comprehensive, specialty care to the poor, the vulnerable, our communities and each other.

Saint Joseph Hospital  Our 365-bed facility is one of the top-ranked hospitals in Denver, and has been awarded the highest national recognition possible for nursing excellence  Magnet designation  by the ANCC. Our Cath Lab has five state-of-the-art procedure rooms for performing numerous heart and vessel imaging studies and treatments.  Within the Cath Lab is our specialized Electrophysiology Lab (EP). Here, patients experiencing irregular heart rates (arrhythmias) can undergo diagnostic exams to identify the specific cause of the problem or to receive life-saving treatments such as pacemaker or defibrillator implants.

Good Samaritan Medical Center  At our 234-bed Level II Trauma Center.  Were especially proud of our people, who helped make us one of America's 100 Best Hospitals according to Healthgrades.  Our Cath lab has 4 state-of -the-art procedure rooms for performing numerous heart and vessel imaging studies and treatments. Our diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab houses 4 rooms: 2 Philips Allura, 2019 Philips Azurion Biplane, and 2015 upgraded GE biplane. We perform Cardiac Catheterizations, Pacemaker insertions and revisions, Electrophysiology Studies and Ablations, Peripheral procedures, Neuro angiograms and interventions.

Lutheran Medical Center  Our 249-bed community-based hospital dates back to 1905.  Our Cath Lab has the highest quality equipment and digital technology, offering both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and interventional procedures.  We use a holistic approach to our heart care as an Accredited Chest Pain Center and our best practices reduce the time we take treating patients during the critical early stages of a heart attack.  Less than one in five Colorado hospitals is able to offer this level of expertise when treating patients with symptoms of a heart attack.

Platte Valley Medical Center  Our 98-bed community hospital is proud to offer comprehensive, integrated care focused on holistic health. We are proud to extend the mission of SCL Health by providing care for the poor, the vulnerable, our communities and each other.

Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind and social well-being. To that end, weve launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling and Paid Time Off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.

Together well align mission and careers, values and workplace. Well honor each others dignity and surpass the standards we set. Well encourage joy and take pride in our integrity.

Well laugh at each others jokes (even the bad ones). Well hello and high five. Well celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing.

Were proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn.
