An organization is seeking an experienced full-time primary care system medical director to oversee and lead their group of 105 employed physicians and advanced providers in 18 practice locations. Candidates must be interested in a 100% administrative position, no clinical work. Candidates must also have prior clinical experience and with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience. Having an outgoing personality and being a team player are very important. They prefer someone with previous success in managing care for the underserved and Medicare and Medicaid populations, experience in risk-based population health initiatives, and value-based contracting programs.
Live and practice in a community on Florida's southwest coast, which attracts vacationers and new residents for its outstanding beaches, eateries, and deep-sea fishing.
