This is part time and will require hour flexibility, to include late evenings and early mornings.

Your day.


As an RN Educator you need to know how to:

  • Act as the subject matter expert in your area of nursing specialty, lead the collaboration with nursing leadership to assess, develop and implement staff development and competency programs.
  • Ensure staff competencies, practice patterns, and care coordination processes achieve highest quality patient care outcomes, and demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide clinically competent care.
  • Function as an expert clinician, role model, educator and mentor for clinical staff.
  • Identify staff strengths and opportunities for development through learning needs assessments and structures experiences for staff members continual learning. Serve as a resource to new staff and preceptors in the orientation process.
  • Provide input for evidenced based policies, procedures, practice standards, quality improvements, and programs based on research standards and identified opportunity.
  • Utilize data, processes, tools, and communication vehicles to support outcome monitoring. Take action to continually improve the effectiveness of clinical practice and patient care initiatives based on these outcomes.
  • Participate in organized professional activities and apply new knowledge to development of educational design and instructional materials to support/improve clinical competencies.

Your experience.


We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN), required.
  • Current Montana RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Montana RN license, required.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required.
  • Current ACLS and TNCC certifications, required.
  • Current PALS or ENPC certification, required.
  • Demonstrated experience in education and/or demonstrated relevant education and clinical expertise in providing education to adult learners, required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, required.
