Administrative Assistant  Full-time


Western Colorado Pediatric Associates Provide administrative support to the Office Manager, Providers, and Supervisors of WCPA. Assist in coordination of activities as outlined and serve as a central contact point. Serves as the scheduler for the WCPA Providers. The starting pay for this position is $14.50 an hour. PCP pays for 100% of the employees health insurance which is a monthly $694 benefit. This benefit equals to an additional $4.27 an hour.


Duties include but are not limited to: - Maintains and manages the Office Managers calendar and schedule - Works closely with Office Manager and Supervisors to maintain good office communication, workflow, etc. - Assists Office Manager with arranging meetings for WCPA staff and/or providers - Assists Office Manager with tracking and compiling data as needed - Attends specific meetings, creates agendas, takes minutes as appropriate - Provides office support to the Office Manager, Providers, Back Office, and Front Office staff - Develops and distributes weekly WCPA Newsletter - Develops, issues, and modifies all providers schedules, including Call schedules for St. Marys Hospital - Creates and edits PM templates, appointments, and more as needed - Manages subpoenas for provider and communicates with attorneys/District Attorneys - Coordinates lectures for subspecialists and other guest speakers, including but not limited to CME lectures from The Childrens Hospital of Denver - Oversees the residency, nurse practitioner and medical students schedules - Collaborates with the Office Manager to coordinate and plan the bi-annual WCPA Physicians Retreat - Monitors, orders, and distributes all office supplies for WCPA Experience: One - three years of experience in office setting; familiarity with general office procedures


Education Requirements: High school diploma required; excellent word processing, spelling and grammar skills; excellent organization and computer skills. Experience in health care setting is advantageous.
