Description:

Candidate will administer an income maintenance and a social service program under the administrative supervision of the county board and/or welfare board and the technical supervision of the State Department of Human Services; supervises professional, support and clerical staff; participates with the community in developing and administering social services/ human services programs; is responsible for providing reports required by county, state and federal laws; and performs related work as required.
This position is full-time but willing to consider as a part-time position.
The full-time position is scheduled 35 hours/week; wage is $39.26-$51.06/hour, depending on experience and qualifications and a benefit package is available.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field and one year of supervisory experience in a public or private social services agency involving supervision of income maintenance or social service programs or fiscal operations;
OR Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or closely related field and three years of professional or technical experience in a county social services agency performing work according to complex federal /state regulations in income maintenance/social services programs, or fiscal operations; e.g., at level of Social Worker, Financial Worker, Fiscal Officer.
A master's degree in social work, psychology, public administration or related field may be substituted for one year of the professional or technical experience as specified above.
