Description


We are looking for RNs passionate about all aspects of women’s health to provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary care team and to serve as the first line of communication with patients in our clinical phone triage during office hours>.  In addition to running a range of clinical testing and labs, the RNs will serve as lactation consultants and deliver educational content in one-on-one and group settings (both in-person and virtual). The ideal candidate is an excellent problem-solver and communicator, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy practice.


What you’ll do



  • Act as the first line of clinical communications with patients:


    • Run clinical phone triage and serve as the first line of contact for patients

    • Support resulting processes for lab results

    • Act as the first line of contact for inbound clinical messaging system, within guidelines/ protocols for support




  • Provide direct clinical care:


    • Run and interpret a number of tests over the prenatal period: nonstress tests; blood-pressure checks for hypertension; 3 hour glucose draws

    • Administer injections and medications

    • Conduct walk-in labs and samples when MA is not available


  • Medical records transcription for OB transfers (may delegate to MA as appropriate)



  • (If IBCLC-certified) Act as lactation counselor for postpartum patients:


    • Respond to lactation-specific questions from patients in clinical messaging system

    • Conduct lactation support visits (both virtual and in-person) as requested by patients

    • Support Diana Health’s education curriculum by leading our breastfeeding class (in-person and digital options)



Qualifications



  • Current certification as a Tennessee Registered Nurse

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar environment, ideally an outpatient women’s health practice 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills 

  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMRs

  • IBCLC certification is a plus, but not required
