AFCS is looking for a Dental Research Scientist/Clinical Dentist (GP-0680-12) to join the team at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This federal job offers a rewarding and exciting career with exceptional benefits! 

The primary purpose of this position is to conduct dental research that focuses on ways to enhance the health, safety, performance, and operational readiness of Air Force personnel and address their emergent dental problems in routine and combat operations. Additionally, to conduct technical evaluation of dental equipment, devices, and materials resulting in objective, statistically sound, evidence-based evaluation reports. This position resides within the Dental Evaluation and Consultation Service, a 59th Dental Group staff.

Salary Range is negotiable.

-       Minimum 3 years of experience in dental research.

-       History of research publications in scientific peer-reviewed journals is required.

-       Experience with research and testing equipment is required.

-       This is a drug testing position. The employee is subject to random drug testing.
