Your day.




As a Polysomnographic Tech / Sleep Tech you need to know how to:



  • Assure accurate data acquisition for diagnostic evaluation of patients scheduled for sleep studies (polysomnograph)
  • Consider all available options, make appropriate age specific (neo, peds, adolescent, adult, geriatric) recommendations. Take needed action and evaluates outcomes
  • Explain procedures to patients thoroughly. Provide assistance when necessary. Monitor patients comfort and alleviate anxiety during procedures
  • Utilize knowledge of equipment to produce accurate and thorough test results
  • Evaluate on-going sleep study and determine if additional monitoring is required



Your experience.




We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:



  • Minimum of two (2) years (i.e. Associate Degree) beyond High School/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a comparable setting
  • Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or the ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire
