Your day.




As a Quality Reporting Program Manager you need to know how to:



  • Create reports and scorecards/dashboards to track the progress of quality, risk and safety efforts as it relates to internal and external programs including, but not limited to, Operational Performance Goals (OPG), Integrated Quality Scorecard (IQS), CMS, The Joint Commission (TJC), Leapfrog, etc.
  • Ensure submission, validations and verifies quality reporting requirements are met notifying their immediate manager/director of any potential associated incentive and/or penalty.
  • Participate in ensuring clinical quality data requirements are up to date, validated, etc. according to program requirements including but not limited to CMS, TJC, Leapfrog, State Programs, etc.
  • Participate in the validation of clinical data sources, appropriate mapping and identifies variances including but not limited to eCQM validation, quality reporting data elements, etc.
  • Take an active role in clinical quality data governance to include definitions, numerators, denominators, inclusions, exclusions, etc. as assigned.
  • Assist with goal modeling and/or benchmarking options for internal clinical metrics using appropriate statistical analysis.
  • Assist in maintaining current audit readiness documentation across SCL Health.



Your experience.

  • Bachelors in Business, Information Systems or related Healthcare degree or equivalent informatics experience, required
  • Three (3) years of experience in quality reporting such as Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), The Joint Commission (TJC), etc., required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare setting, required
  • Expert use of MS Office, including Excel, required
  • Masters Degree, preferred
  • Experience with clinical data analysis & statistics, preferred
  • Registered Nurse, preferred
  • Prior clinical experience, preferred
  • Experience with statistical software or add-ons, premier QMR/QA or similar benchmarking solution, RL Datix or similar Event Reporting System, Epic or similar EHR., preferred
