Post Date:
September 10, 2021
A hospital in southern West Virginia needs a gastroenterologist to join another GI physician in an established hospital-employed practice. The qualified candidate will have the ability to perform ERCP, EGD, bronchoscopies, esophageal manometry, and capsule endoscopies. EUS skills are preferred, but not required. The practice is conveniently located 1 mile from the hospital campus and offers flexible office hours, Monday - Friday. With the practice continuing to grow by 1.5K new patients per year for the past 7 years, the incoming physician can expect to ramp-up quickly. The current physician averages 70 cases per month (80% outpatient and 20% inpatient). Work at a 300-bed hospital and 1 of the busiest level III trauma centers in the country averaging 50K ED visits per year. They welcome candidates that are board certified and board eligible. If you do not have an active WV medical license, CompHealth has a team dedicated to help you obtain one. Final year residents are welcome to apply.

This hospital-employed position offers a competitive compensation package and loan repayment. You will also receive relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, medical benefits, life insurance/disability, vacation, CME time with stipend, and a retirement plan.
