As a Chief Radiation Therapist, you will supervise the technical operation of our Radiation Oncology Department. This includes external beam treatment, brachytherapy, CT/MR simulator, and simulations. In addition to supervising therapists and trainees, you will oversee the development and monitoring of a robust quality assurance program. This role will involve managing patient scheduling, problem resolution, staffing, operations, treatment planning, and dose calculation. You will supervise the performance of a wide variety of technical therapeutic procedures as well as personally perform therapy duties. You will also handle a variety of key administrative duties, including performance improvement initiatives, billing, external beam scheduling, chart rounds, and more.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a strong leader with ARRT/CRT certification and:

• Five or more years of experience as a radiation therapist


• Previous management experience preferred


• Experience with Varian Aria Oncology Information System and EPIC Electronic Health Records a plus

The ideal candidate will also be proficient with the following technology:

• Varian Truebeam, Novalis Tx, Trilogy, or Halcyon


• Accuray Tomotherapy


• Viewray MRIdian
