PHYSICIAN – STUDENT – MEDICAL SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP 

Health Professions Scholarship Program helps medical student’s complete medical school by providing financial support to the medical school of their choice. Scholarship participants receive financial assistance covering all tuition and required fees, including books, small equipment items, and supplies needed for study, in addition to other educational expenses normally incurred by students in the civilian school’s degree program. Over $15,000/YR in stipend pay with the opportunity to match or general medical officer placement.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

EDUCATION: Must be accepted to or enrolled in an AMA or AOA school of medicine. The average student selected for a HPSP scholarship had a 3.5 GPA (four point scale) and a 27-30 on the MCAT. Students already in medical school should apply 12 months early for a 3, 2, or 1-year scholarship. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis.
