Sterling Medical is seeking a New Parent Support Home Visitor (Registered Nurse) to work with our military families at our Germany Army bases!



  • Monday-Friday normal 8 hour schedule

  • Flexible Hours between 9:00 AM -7:00 PM; (Weekend days may be required depending on each situation)

Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Have a minimum of TWO years beyond degree of direct experience in child maltreatment, child abuse programs, and dysfunctional couples, families experiencing stress, violent hostile individual clients, parenting program or related areas

  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted in any state is accepted

  • BLS with the American Heart Association

The Army’s New Parent Support Program (NPSP) for expectant & new parents augments & expands the existing Family Advocacy Program (FAP). Services are to be provided through outreach to expectant & new parents & their families. Programs & services for expectant & new parents contribute to mission readiness, support family adaptation to military life, & are designed to enhance the knowledge & skills families need in order to form healthy relationships and provide safe, nurturing environments for children.
The Contractor shall provide personnel classified as Home Visitors (HVs) that will fill the NPSP positions located in various Europe communities. The HVs shall act as an NPSP Program Manager (PM) provide clinical administrative supervision & to interface with the COR to resolve any issues related to employee performance. The HV is also responsible for administrative management, coordination & support. Contract HVs shall provide services to their respective community’s or sub-communities. Services shall be provided in accordance with established principles & ethics of the social work & nursing professions, & U.S. Army Garrison Army Community Services (ACS).
