Your day.


As the Manager, Payer Contract Administration you need to know how to:


  • Oversee accurate, complete and timely payer contract loading and analytics for contract modeling, contract performance, and plan performance evaluations
  • Lead team to develop and maintain fee schedules and rate documents, provide analysis of proposals, make recommendations for optimum rate structures and terms, and communicate current rates/fees to internal customers.
  • Develop and implement contract reimbursement management policies and procedures to maintain contract and revenue integrity, cross-training of staff, and mitigation strategies for contract build errors and issues.
  • Assure contractual arrangements meet financial budgetary targets and legal and/or regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Develops and implements strategies for the timely identification and resolution of reimbursement variances.
  • Conduct on-going assessments of contracts and make recommendations for strategic initiatives, goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and communicate contractual terms to other departments whose functions are necessary to the development, implementation and management of the provider arrangements.


Your experience.

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance/accounting or health administration
  • Minimum of three to five (3 to 5) years of experience working in a health care or managed care payer setting with a specific background in complex managed care and government contract modeling and maintenance for providers including Health Systems, Physician Hospital -Organizations, Facilities and/or other high level and complex contract building




  • Knowledge of Epic Resolute
  • Experience implementing and/or managing denials management programs
