  • You will become part of a well-established faculty practice of 12 physicians in an 80% clinical and teaching / 20% administrative role.
  • Our practice includes pediatrics, obstetrics, general family medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation.
  • A typical week includes three clinic half days and the remainder of the time in clinical precepting, education and administrative time.
  • Inpatient weeks include med/peds admissions as well as OB and newborn care.  Minimum of one call shift per week of inpatient.
  • Weekend coverage and intermittent call are part of the call responsibilities.
  • Call is from home until needed in hospital.
  • You can expect to see 8-10 patients in a half-day clinic.
  • Inpatient census averages from 15-20 patients.
  • Academic appointment commensurate with experience.  The St. Marys Family Medicine Residency has 27 residents.
  • The clinic is well staffed with RNs, MOAs, 2 NPs, Care coordinators and integrated behavioral health providers.
  • Call paid in addition to base salary.
  • Candidates must be board certified in Family Medicine.
  • Three years practice experience preferred. 
  • Experience/interest in obstetrics required.
  • Experience/interest in performing and teaching OMT is a bonus.
  • POCUS experience desired but not mandatory. 
  • The ideal candidate will enjoy teaching and have a passion for rural medicine.  
  • Employment requires obtaining a Colorado license.
