Train for the ICU RN Career of Your Dreams!

 

St. Vincent would like to invest in you by offering advanced training courses in nursing starting September 9, 2019.  If you are a Registered Nurse who is interested in advancing your career into a specialty of ICU, this program is for you.

New Associate Orientation or Associate Transfer  Week of September 9, 2019 

 

Program Start  September 16, 2019 

 

Here's How the Process Works 

 

  • This is a full-time, 13-week training program offering a mix of didactic learning and clinical preceptorship.

  • You will be compensated for training hours and will be benefit-eligible.

  • The training program comes with a two-year commitment to SCL Health St. Vincent.

  • Interested candidates must apply via https://jobs.sclhealth.org prior to 11:59 PM MST on August 9, 2019 to be considered for the program. 

       

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • BSN or ASN/ ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required

  • Current RN license to practice in Montana or ability to obtain prior to September 9, 2019, required

  • Current BLS certification, required

  • At least one (1) year of RN experience, highly preferred; will consider new graduate RNs

  • Ability and willingness to work all shifts  days, nights and weekends  dependent on departmental need, required

  • Ability and willingness to work under stressful conditions with a high volume of patients, required

  • Ability and willingness to learn in classroom and online settings as well as at the bedside in the clinical setting, required

  • Ability and willingness to commit to the 13-week training period uninterrupted, required

  • Ability and willingness to sign a commitment to two (2) years of full-time work in the department hired, required
