Description:

The Manager of Environmental Services is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the facility in all public, patient care, and employee areas, in order to maintain the highest possible standards, and good public relations with all concerned. Accountable for the integration of WakeMed mission, vision and values into the performance of all areas of responsibility. Plans, directs and coordinates activities of supervisors, team leaders and front-line personnel to ensure all daily operations and special projects are completed. Implements and maintains programs and procedures that comply with all regulatory requirements and meet the needs of our patients and visitors.  Ensures that all supplies, equipment, and productive time are utilized efficiently, and that staff are trained appropriately through continuing education and process improvements.


Experience Requirements: 



  • 5 Years Leadership Required - and 3 Years Healthcare - Multi-Hospital System Preferred 

  • 5 Years Leadership and 2 Years Environmental Services in Lieu of Degree


Education Required: 



  • Associate degree Required - and Bachelor's Degree Preferred


Hours of Work: Mon-Fri (6:45a-4:00p) 
Weekend Requirements: As Needed 
Call Requirements: as needed
