Job Description & Requirements
Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)
START DATE: 1/7/2019 for 8 weeks.  SHIFT: Weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday.  REQUIRED:  RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST- Technologist performs various imaging exams for patients following established techniques and procedures. Following orientation, is scheduled for rotating shared call. Technologist is familiar with patient care involving radiology, fluoroscopy and computed tomography; performs routine diagnostic procedures, sets up and operates stationary and mobile x-ray equipment and takes radiographs and CT scans of various body parts to assist practitioners in detection of foreign bodies and diagnosis of disease or injury. Opportunity for advancement with modality certification. Department services include radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, mammography, CT, surgical C arm, portable radiography, and DEXA. Department has fully functioning PACS with digital and CR systems. ARRT in Radiography or equivalent required. CT scan experience preferred. Works Monday through Thursday, 10 hour days or Weekends: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shifts with call.
