As an entomologist and officer, you’ll play an important role on the U.S. Army Reserve health care team. Your knowledge of insects, pest management and disease prevention can improve a Soldier’s quality of life. When you practice in your community and serve when needed, you’ll develop skills that will enhance the work you do every day.

Requirements include:



  • Master’s degree in entomology or biological science with a major in entomology from an accredited program acceptable to the Surgeon General

  • Between 21 and 42 years of age 

  • U.S. citizenship
