Job Description:
|
In this position, you ll evaluate, plan, and administer nursing care to patients. You ll provide prescribed medication and treatment, help physicians during exams and treatment, and monitor and record patient condition, notifying physician when appropriate. You ll also monitor patient care provided by LPNs, CNAs, and others. All aspects of primary patient care in the Cardiovascular step-down/cath lab recovery unit. Experience administering moderate sedation medication under the direction of a physician, arterial sheath removal, cardioversion and monitoring of critical care cardiac medications beneficial. Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current GA RN license. Must have BLS certification. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of employment.
