Dermatology - new position Type of organization: Physician owned. Physicians are in solo practice with share overhead in a multispecialty clinic. Partnership track. NBMC is the physician-cooperative that provides ancillary services to run your practice. This includes accounting, administration, billing, collections, transcription, medical records, lab, xray, CT, MRI and in-house day surgery. Partnership in two years. No out of pocket buy-in. NBMC is a very cohesive group, each physician runs their office practice by setting their own schedule and most work most work 4-4.5 days a week and hire their reception and clinical assistant. Each physician has three exam rooms and their own office. Very little managed care and the Medicaid patients are well managed under the Oregon Health Plan. It is two years until partnership in this multi-specialty clinic. You will have full voting rights day one. PRACTICE INFORMATION: Type of practice: # of physicians in Group: 53-physician multispecialty clinic which is physician owned Specialties: 3 OB/Gyn's, 8 family physicians, 3 general surgeons, 13 internists, 2 oncologists, 1 orthopedic surgeon, 2 ENT's, 4 pediatricians, 2 urologists, neurology, physiatrist and pain management along with a medical acupuncturist. The group has satellite Clinics in Gold Beach, Bandon, Coquille, & Myrtle Point. Call coverage: Family Practice Call 1:9 (Coos Bay) Family Practice: 1:7 (Myrtle Point) Family Practice: (Bandon) Internal Medicine Call 1:13 (Coos Bay) Neurology - Call 1:2 seven days a week, one week on and one week off; no weekend calls into hospital Dermatology (Coos Bay) Urology (Coos Bay) Support Staff: NBMC support staff includes Accounting, Administration, Billing/Insurance, Day Surgery, Medical Records, Lab, X-ray, CT, Bone Density, Transcription, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Information Systems Support staff in your office generally includes a nurse/medical assistant and receptionist. COMMUNITIES: COOS BAY/NORTH BEND, COQUILLE/MYRTLE POINT, GOLD BEACH, OREGON PHYSICIANS IN COMMUNITY: COOS BAY/NORTH BEND Physicians on staff at Bay Area Hospital is more than 130. Medical staff includes allergy, anesthesia, dermatology, certified nurse midwifes, ENT, emergency services, family practice, general surgery, gynecology, internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology, neurology/sleep disorders Obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, orthopedics, pain management, pathology, pediatrics, podiatry, psychiatry, radiation oncology, radiology and urology.
