Job Description:

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a member of the Hospital Executive Team. Responsible for integration, coordination and direction of nursing and patient care within the overall operation of the hospital. Directs nursing and patient care to ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care consistent with the mission, vision and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulations, licensing and accreditation requirements. The CNO participates in the hospital's strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. The CNO promotes a culture of Service Excellence with all customer groups. Skills - Previous experience in a Senior Nursing leadership role within the last 3 to 5 years. - BSN required - MSN or other Masters degree required - CA RN license required - Strong acute care nursing operations experience - Strong physician relations skills - Strong customer service skills - Strong leadership and communications skills - Experience with Women's and Children's Health is preferred BJ-DEE 10-5-09
License: Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with an Adult Reconstructive or Spine Fellowship
