Job Description: We have a need in for a General Psychiatrist in MD. They are also looking for a permanent psychiatrist. Locum Tenens to perm would work.
The crown jewel of this city in MD is the Inner Harbor, a scenic and popular waterfront area with dozens of retail stores, restaurants and attractions. This, combined with easy accessibility, makes the city unique. What most people don't realize is that most sites and neighborhoods are within walking distance of each other, and this makes Baltimore an ideal place for business as well as pleasure.
  • This is all inpatient work, but may need to help if the outpatient unit is overloaded.
  • The psychiatrist would see about 12 patients per day.
  • The unit has a 30 bed capacity with an average daily census of about 25.
    The work would consist of the following:
  • Hospital Rounds.
  • Hospital Consults.
  • Histories and Physicals
  • Medication management.
  • Hospital admits.
