Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Greater Birmingham, AL Area
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych Mental Health NP preferred, but would consider a Nurse Practitioner with Psych background as an RN) needed for Hospital (In-patient/Out-patient Clinic Setting) Med/ Management and Therapy.
Standard hours are Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00pm. Some call responsibilities required for this position. The Hospital has two units one for Adults and one for Geriatrics. Top three DRGs are depression, schizophrenia/psychosis, and mood disorders. Estimated patient volume would be 25 per day. There are several Psychiatrists on staff.
Salary range of 80-85K D.O.E. , plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a one year commitment. Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision and 401K. PTO accrues at 16 days per year initially and 12 days per year sick leave. Paid CME time off and CME allowance. Malpractice is 1/3MM per occurrence paid at 100% as well as licensure, dues, fees etc.
