The NP in Occupational Health provides comprehensive health assessments; demonstrates a high level of autonomy; demonstrates expert skill in diagnoses & treatment to manage acute and chronic illness and/or injury; promotes wellness through health education. Must adhere to the scope of practice as established by the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Graduation from an accredited graduate NP program or certification from a nationally recognized organization. 2-3 years experience in a nurse practitioner setting such as family practice, etc. BSN req., MSN preferred. CPR, TNCC & ACLS required. DEA encouraged.
