Job Description: * Provide lactation support for in and outpatients
* Follow-up home visits & telephone calls.
* Interact with community agencies for appropriate follow-up care for high risk patients.
* Ability to care for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients.
* Perform Pre-op visits for our Caesarian Section patients.
* Coordinate Childbirth classes.
Job Experience: REQUIRED: OR RN lic; Lactation certificate; IBCLC within 1 year; AHA BLS within 60 days of hire and maintained.
PREFERRED: IBCLC; AHA NRP; EKG interpretation; basic knowledge of psychosocial concepts and problem solving.
Education / License / Certifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred


REQUIRED: OR RN lic; AHA BLS cert within 60 days of hire; AHA ACLS cert within 6 mos of hire; AHA PALS, TNCC or TEAM OREGON certs within 2yrs. PREFERRED: CCRN or PCCN.
