Responsibilities

In this rewarding role, you will administer and interpret the full range of audiological tests, including comprehensive audiological evaluation, immittance measures, otoacoustic measures, and electrophysiological measures for differentiation of conductive, cochlear, neural hearing loss, and pseudohypoacusis. You will provide bedside diagnostic services such as adapted audiologic evaluations as well as auditory electrophysiology (ABR and/or ASSR) at bedside and in the operating room (under sedation as indicated).


You will also be responsible for:



  • Hearing aid and cochlear implant candidacy determination

  • Fitting, verifying and validating amplification systems

  • Patient and family counseling

  • Communication with other care-providers for child/adult

  • Completion of diagnostic and treatment services reports

  • Participating in various teams and committees to promote best practices


Qualifications


We’re seeking a skilled, compassionate individuals with:



  • California Audiology License

  • Background in both pediatric and adult audiology

  • Experience in hearing aid dispensing

  • Cochlear implant skills preferred
