Bayfront Health St Petersburg’s Laboratory is a CAP accredited and AABB accredited, CLIA licensed, full service clinical laboratory that provides high quality, cost effective service to physicians, clinics, hospitals, researchers, skilled nursing facilities and employers. Through dedication, attention to detail and exemplary customer service, we have become one of the most trusted and reliable laboratories in the area. We provide over 1.3 million test results annually to all of our inpatients, outpatients and over 50 outreach locations in the community. Using the Beckman Coulter power processor Lab Automation – DXC’s and DXI’s, our laboratory team members enjoy better tracking, seamless work flow and quicker turnaround times. Our state of the art equipment is capable of performing thousands of tests per hour, which has increased the efficiency of our lab. We are committed to providing timely and accurate test results, which is crucial so that our medical staff can provide prompt diagnosis and treatment for our patients. After specimens are delivered to the laboratory, our highly trained technical staff ensures that the specimens are processed in a timely manner and the results are accurate.
