RESEARCH ASSISTANT to Jackson Deff,,
Professor of Psychiatry at Chicago, IL Hospital-Chicago Medical Center,
Chicago, Il (Summer 1997). Organized an archival research project that
utilitized 140 hospital charts, supervised data collection efforts of 9-member
research team, received and returned charts to medical records department,
wrote an article for publication in an international psychology newsletter,
coded and scanned data into computer, and assisted in research office.
RESEARCH ASSISTANT to Lenora Lickenstein,
Professor of Healthcare at Chicago University, Chicago, Il (September 1995-May
1997). Prepared class assignments, proofread manuscripts that were in the
process of being published, created and maintained departmental web pages, and
aided departmental secretary in the office by ordering books for classes and
answering the office phone.
RESEARCH FELLOW to Robert Darsy, Professor
of Psychology at the State University of Chicago University, Chicago, IL
(Summer 1996). Videotaped lab observations, coded and entered data into
spreadsheet, and created independent research project and presentation. Click

STUDENT INTERN IN PEDIATRIC PSYCHOLOGY at
Four Winds Hospital, Katonah, NY (Summer 1994). Supervised patients both in
groups and on a one-to-one basis, participated in art therapy and psychodrama
in two unlocked inpatient children's units, provided crisis intervention and
assistance with daily living skills, and documented patients' progress in
hospital charts.
