| ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY AND IV THERAPY. |
- Maintain overall responsibility for ordering medications and
supervising and scheduling fifteen staff pharmacists and technicians.
Implemented a mobile cart system with pharmacists making rounds
and dispensing medications at nurses stations. System has increased
quality control and improved relations between Nursing and Pharmacy
staff.

- Developed a centralized piggyback program which relieved nurses
of the duty of mixing solutions and turned it over to pharmacy
technicians. Program has given techs greater responsibility and
has significantly reduced errors and increased quality standards.

- Responsible for keeping Pharmacy, Medical and Nursing staffs
current on effects and uses of new medications and developing
policies regarding their use. Consult extensively with doctors
on difficult cases. Currently developing a Clinical Program to
provide more inservice training for doctors and nurses and completing
development of a kinetic counseling program to better serve doctors.
Represent the Pharmacy Department on the Pharmacy and Therapeutic
Committee. Actively involved in helping the committee produce
a complete formulary.

| STAFF PHARMACIST 6/79 to 3/89. |
- As staff pharmacist monitored and recorded patients' medications
and IV therapy. Provided consultations with doctors, nurses and
patients to ensure proper therapy. Ordered all medications and
kept the department well supplied. Designed a diabetic program
which reached 100 diabetics annually and helps them maintain more
effective therapy.
