Job Description: This practice opportunity's affiliation with one of a nationally recognized health network gives patients the assurance that if it is necessary to be transferred to a tertiary care facility, they will receive care from a health system rated one of the nation's best. Being part of this network provides the opportunity for individuals in the area to receive health care from family physicians in a hometown setting. The physicians are part of a network of over 300 physicians within the network clinic who provide care for one health system. Should patients need specialty care, the family physician has immediate access to the appropriate specialists within the system. Geographically, this practice opportunity is based in southern Minnesota. The hospital and clinic seeks a family medicine physician to service their draw area. The physician shall provide clinic and hospital services and ER coverage - there is some nursing home coverage as well. The call schedule will be 1:5 with usually 0 to 3 inpatient admissions while on call. The nursing home is physically and conveniently attached to the hospital. The clinic hours are 8 to 5 on Monday through Friday and 9am to 12pm on Saturdays . The incoming physician will work a four and one-half day work week.

Job Experience: Comprehensive family medicine including ER coverage and some geriatric patients. The opportunity is open to graduating residents or already practicing physicians.
Education / License / Certifications: American or Internationally trained.

Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Practice physician with a MN license or in process of getting a MN license.
Salary / Benefits: $170,000 salary guarantee, $75,000 incentive for medical school repayment, $25,000 incentive for 'signing on'. The new physician will be an employee of the network with a salary and production incentive bonuses, and the full range of services for employee benefit.
