Job Description:
|
Reporting to the Chief Physician Assistant, this is an expansion position in a busy ER in a growing area. In this progressive setting, goal is to see patients within 30 minutes of arrival vs. other area hospitals where waiting periods are much longer. The facility is located in a growing area 90 minutes Northeast of Raleigh with outstanding recreation opportunities 20 minutes away.
What You Will Do: Daily patient load in ER is approximately 100 – 120 covering two primary areas: Minimal Treatment (85%) and Main ER (15%). Expected number of patients seen by the PA/NP on a daily basis is 20-25. You will see Peds, Geri, Adolescent and Adult patients. Department includes X-Ray and lab, CT, Ultra scan and MRI. Three rotating shifts, with some flexibility, 2 weekends per month, rotating holidays with some flexibility.

| Job Experience: |
What You Need to Have: PA or NP 2 – 5 years experience. Must have experience in either: A busy Family Practice OR in an Urgent Care Facility OR in Emergency Medicine. Ability to work in a team environment and pitch in where needed. Ability to work flexible shift schedule with some weekends .

Compensation:
