Indian Health Council, Inc. SUMMARY

The LMFT provides clinical counseling and support services to Native American individuals, children and their families. Execute objectives as they are established by the grant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provide psychotherapeutic counseling services to individuals, couples and families.
Treatment plans will be developed and agreed upon by both client and clinician. Treatment plans may also include case management services.
Work in conjunction with medical staff in the development of medical/behavioral treatment programs.
Provide screenings (depression, anxiety, etc.).
Promote awareness of Behavioral Health community wellness activities.
Treatment services will include crisis intervention, individual, couples, family and group counseling.
Clinicians will collaborate with other IHC departments and outside agencies

for the provision of treatment services, and creating integrative care.

Performs all administrative tasks and charting duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Works on the collection of data and other research information as needed.
Maintains client confidentiality at all times.
Provide group counseling services.
Attends meetings when assigned and when necessary for individual client care.
Maintains client case files in accordance with both HIPPA and IHC regulations.
Performs additional duties as assigned and directed by supervisors.
Maintains a current license and abides by the ethics code of their profession.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

TRAVEL & DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Travel is not required for this position.

Driving is required for this position. Must be comfortable driving around our service area.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

JOB SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Ancillary Services, the Laboratory Director oversees day to day functions of the laboratory to ensure high quality diagnostic testing and all laboratory activities comply with organization and regulatory agency standards. The Laboratory Director takes responsibility for staffing, budgeting, licensure, operations, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency of staff in accordance with JCAHO, federal, state, and local guidelines, organizational and departmental policies, and procedures. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory, chemical, physical or biological sciences.

Qualifications

Demonstrated working knowledge of current medical terminology specific to oncology, to accurately read entries in patient charts and record accurately and timely, information into study records and other appropriate research data forms. Clinical research experience, with in depth knowledge of clinical oncology as it pertains to clinical trials and studies. Demonstrated knowledge of “good clinical practices” for clinical research as defined by the FDA. Demonstrated organizational skills to efficiently and effectively provide data management/monitoring support for multiple clinical trials and projects, providing accurate information in a timely manner. Prioritizes concerns in multiple or complex issues.
Oversees referral, investigation, and resolution of complaints/grievances independently and coordinates response by involved departments.
